This morning, after the gym and on the way to playgroup, I had a *strong* hankering for a nice cup of Dunkin Donuts coffee. Conveniently, there's a Dunkin Donuts right on the way.
There I sat, parked in the lot, staring at the store, trying ot muster the energy to get both kids out of the car, safely across the parking lot, through the line and to the register, then get everyone back to the car, this time juggling a cup of hot coffee. Not to mention the idea or re-wrestling Toby into his car seat. Sigh.
What to do...
What to do...
What to do...
Yes, I resorted to asking a complete stranger if they would go in to the store an buy my coffee, offering to buy him one as well. (He was going in anyway!!) A very nice man made my day by bringing me coffee outside the Dunkin Donuts so I didn't have to schlep everyone in. He probably saved me about half an hour too.
THANK YOU NICE MAN!
(btw, drive-throughs are not legal in Acton, I'm told. WHY WHY WHY is this?)
