family harmony

For a long time now, the song Alouette has been part of our bedtime routine. Toby loves the song, and we point to or kiss each body part as we sing it. Toby sometimes sings along, but usually just joins us wholehartedly at the "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" part just as you go into the refrain. He's so earnest it melts my heart.

That moment, the few seconds in each verse where we sing "OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" snuggled all together (Jake too!) in the dark on Toby's bed, is one of my very favorite moments of each day.
