roadblocks

So my camera has stopped synching with my laptop. This is a major problem, as it is what makes frequent picture posts possible. I'm not sure what to do about this - how to even begin troubleshooting? Wah. The camera still works fine, and I think it synchs with the desktop ok. (you'd think this wouldn't be such a problem, but it makes it much less convenient - and at this point, I can only do the picture stuff if it's easy.) Rather depressed about this.
