sweet dreams

Tonight, I was putting Toby to bed alone - Josh was out and Jake was already asleep. After doing our whole routine -potty, teeth, books, prayers, singing- we were just sitting on his bed in the light of his little nightlight. We spent about 15 minutes just talking. He told me all sorts of things, sang me songs with his eyes closed (he has a little joke where he sings "Frere Doctor") and we had such a special time. He told me he wanted to learn to juggle (where did he get the idea??) I was smiling after he said something and he told me "I make you so happy."

What a sweet time - to just sit in semi-darkness having a talk with my little boy.
